Abstract

Other places and some rhythms, for our space-time from the philosophy of the imaginary, lead us to the following question: how are affections conceived in Bachelard? Starting with the reflection on the belonging of Bachelardian thought to an aesthetic orthodoxy, which already leads us to dismember an ontology of the senses through the relationship that perceptions have with affects. That is, is there an aesthetic significance of touch, color, sound, smell, taste? The gestures of the poetic condition of thinking, after the phenomenology of the victory of materiality over ideality, make us resort to aesthetics as the ultimate way of thinking and feeling. It is elsewhere in this condition that we will see how the elements are nothing more than poetic affects in Bachelard. Thus, we put ourselves in the shoes of an aesthete, to go from the cosmicity of the microscopic physis to the affective miniatures that detail the eternal approximation of the ladder of knowledge with feeling in Bachelard’s philosophy.

Keywords: Senses; affections; materiality
