Abstract

I intend to summarize the core of Roberto Machado’s ideas concerning Nietzsche’s tragic philosophy by revisiting Nietzsche e a verdade, but, mainly, Zaratustra: tragédia nietzschiana. I will indicate how the interpreter articulated an overview on the studied thought where its most difficult aspects—as the teoretical
and poetic composition involving eternal recurrence and will-to-power in the defiying terms of the book Thus spoke Zarathustra—were enlightened in a consistent way, leaving to the audience an authorized and stimulant path to nietzschian contributions to History of Philosophy and to Philosophy itself. I pay homage to
our just deceased master adding to this report brief notes on the acquaintanceship that happened between us.
