Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in the formatting norms of body text, quotations and references, present in the website's menu of Dissonância.
  • In case of submission to a peer-reviewed section (articles and book-reviews), the instructions available under Ensuring Blind Review were followed.
  • The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being considered for publication in other platforms.
  • I will not submit this work to potential publication in other platforms until its editorial assessment is concluded by Dissonancia: Critical Theory Journal.
  • I am aware that the act of submission implies authorization for publication and that the publication of the approved texts will be subject, in the last instance, to the decision of the Editorial Board.

Author Guidelines

Dissonância accpets submissions regardless of the authors' academic title, as long as the contribution is within the journal's thematic scope.

Contributions can be submitted at any time. For inclusion in special issues, please check the current calls and submission deadlines.

Please check the journal's guidelines before submitting a contribution.
