The submissions can be sent to the Free Topic Section or to the Thematic Section of the journal. The Free Topic Section works on a rolling basis, accepting submissions ininterruptly along the year. The Thematic Section works through calls for papers with specific deadlines; in order to send submissions to this section please check which calls are currently open.

The submitted material must be in accordance with the journal's formatting style of body text, quotations e references.

The journal receives submissions in Portuguese, Spanish and English.

The name of the submitter should not appear on the submitted material. In case of doubt, please consult the instructions available in Ensuring a Blind Review.

The submitted material must be original and unpublished and cannot be under evaluation for publication at another vehicle. Therefore, the submitter commits not to submit the same work to another vehicle before Dissonância's editorial evaluation process is complete.

Before a submission, the editors request the authors to read the specific norms and information related to the submission of articles, book reviews and translations.

Submissions should be made via e-mail (dissonancia@unicamp.br).

An author who had an article published in a volume of the journal will be able to have another article published in a volume of Dissonância only one and a half years (567 days) after her or his last publication. Also, the same author cannot have a book review and an article published in the same volume. A manuscript that has already been assessed and rejected by the journal may not be submitted again for review.
